The residents of Twin Lakes Village ended 2021 with a memorable Christmas party that was filled with fun and included a visit from Santa Claus himself.

During the event, which was held at the Sarnia seniors living community on Dec. 14, residents participated in several activities, including a “Christmas gift obstacle course” that included a bingo game where they had to complete in a series of Christmas-themed challenges in order to form a line on their bingo cards.

The event ended with each residents getting a gift.

Kaylene Hagen, the Twin Lakes Village activity co-ordinator, says residents had fun completing the other Christmas challenges, which included an activity where they shared Christmas memories, as well as showing their gifts to each other.

Residents were provided with a wide array of Christmas treats and festive drinks, including one called Grinch punch, and there was even a hot chocolate station set up so they could enjoy a cup of a wintertime favourite.

The party included a visit from Santa Claus, and team members set up a photo station where everyone could have their photo taken with St. Nick by the Christmas tree and fireplace.

“It was a great way to end the year with lots of laughs and smiles,” Kaylene says.
